Ugh....have u people ever like liked someone, but your parents didnt?? ugh it is soooooooooo annoying. They don't even care that the person makes u happy. Sure they might be different but if the guy is nice and funny and makes you feel good doesn't that matter. ;)

Well...apparently not to my parents. :( the guy i like happens to be PART (keyword) black. its not his fault. My parents (well, my mom) is always like "N.O. no..he is different, and no daughter of mine is going to date a black boy." and it just hurts me when she says that cause she doesn't even know him.

I just need some help really. Usually I'm the person to help u people when u need it...but now I think I need the help. Should I just tell him to stop waiting for me at the end of the hallway for me EVERY DAY (now doesn't that seem like a nice guy :) I'm just confused...should I stay with my heart...my feelings. Or should I obey my parents.... :cries:

Dude, stay with your heart. My friend, is your mom racist about african americans?? O.o cause thats messed up. You shouldn't care about what your mom thinks about him because SHE doesn't know ANYTHING what so ever about the boy you like and YOU do. If she has a problem with it, so what? She's prejudging that boy and has no right to. Go with what you feel you should do.

okay it has two sides -.- *know how ya feel if a family member is a racist, my grandpa is -.-*
anyway, you should follow your heart. Just be with him whenever ya want.
Of course you need to listen to your parents, but they should understand it. Im sure after ya have dated him a few times, that your mom shall say okay. But then ya need to talk to her also.

yea, well i didnt tlk to her actually. I was at school 2day tlking to one of my other guy friends and he comes up, and he starts to but the other one out. So i got mad and was like "This isnt going to work, so can u leave me alone." soooo yea it isnt going to work out anymore.
